TELL CITY - Christians have long admired the faith of Jesus' first followers, known as his apostles. Some 2,000 years later, a Perry County family is looking forward to moving into a home carrying the "Apostles" name being built for them by Habitat for Humanity of Perry County.
Ground was broken for the home in the 1000 block of 11th Street June 1. Known as an Apostles Built Home, it is being sponsored by several local churches and affiliated groups, said Sue Denoncour, director of the local Habitat chapter. Other Habitat chapters have successfully sponsored Apostle churches.
