TELL CITY - The Perry County Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon cutting for Goody’s at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday. The ribbon cutting will be held to celebrate a change-over from Peebles to Goody’s.
The Goody’s store is in the Lincoln Park Plaza shopping center at 19 Indiana 66 in Tell City. Goody’s and Peebles are owned by Stage Stores.
Loyal Peebles shoppers need not worry, a store official said, because “Goody’s will carry an expanded assortment of the quality, brand-name apparel and accessories Peebles customers know and love, plus a great selection of juniors and men’s apparel that made Goody’s a destination for the latest looks.”
Customers who are eager to get a first glimpse of the new Goody’s store can attend the 8:45 a.m. ribbon cutting, with doors swinging wide open to welcome all shoppers at 9 a.m. Shopper reward programs such as a membership discount for customers 50 and over, military discount and VIP Rewards membership will also be available at the new Goody’s.
The public is invited to help celebrate the changeover of the business. For more information, contact Goody’s at 547-3027 or the chamber at 547-2385.
