MARENGO—Three Perry County runners placed second in their grade at Crawford County’s cross country invitational Saturday.
Unique among area cross country meets, this one features separate finishes for runners in each grade. Each school’s team score is then determined by adding the total times of its top five runners—regardless of which race they ran.
Perry Central finished sixth among 23 complete boys teams despite not running is top six runners. Tell City finished seventh.
