Glory Bees Preschool enrolling new students for 2013-14 school year

-A A +A

TELL CITY – Glory Bees Preschool, established in 1986, is currently accepting applications for the upcoming school year, scheduled to begin Aug. 26.
Glory Bees uses learning through play, teaching philosophy, and students will experience a variety of fun-filled learning adventures. Children will be introduced to Christian character development, math, science, art, music, a phonetic introduction to letters, manners and cooking. Each child will be encouraged to participate in new and challenging learning situations so they are able to master new skills.
They will learn the art of making new friends and will be guided in developing age-appropriate communication skills. The preschool’s goal is to make each child’s preschool experience very positive, establishing a firm foundation for a successful, lifelong academic career, director Susan Jordan said.
Glory Bees Preschool offers three-day classes for 3 year olds, Monday through Wednesday, from 9 to 11 a.m. and five-day classes for 4 and 5 year olds, Monday through Friday, from 9 to 11 a.m.  Class sizes are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
For more information or to pick up an application, contact First Baptist Church, 802 13th St., or call 547-2270.
A back-to-school parent orientation meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 20 for enrolled students.
