Gibson ranked first in state in football scoring

Perry Central senior running back Bo Gibson apparently ranked first in the state in scoring and second in rushing yardage per game this year.

There has been some discrepancy between Gibson's statistics on digitalsports.com, which the IHSAA uses, and Perry Central's official statistics, which Rod Spence faxes to area media outlets each week.

Before the Commodores' final sectional game against Linton-Stockton, the IHSAA had Gibson listed with 39 touchdowns and Perry Central's official stats had him listed with 37.
