LEOPOLD - Bo Gibson was named Perry Central's Most Valuable Player in football at the team's awards banquet Sunday.
Gibson, a senior running back and defensive back, won the MVP award in a team vote for the second year in a row.
Perry Central Coach Mike Spencer noted that this year's senior players had won 88.0 percent of their games, going 44-6 in their four-year varsity careers.
They won the PLAC title all four of those years and won two sectionals and two regionals.
