Tamara Lynn Germany of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Donald Harrison Van Hoosier of Santa Claus were united in marriage during a ceremony Saturday, July 14, 2012, at North Hutchenson Island, Fla.
The bride is the daughter of Elmer Miller and Lois Smith of Farmington, N.M. Mr. Van Hoosier is the son of Otis Van Hoosier and Burney and Rita Hudecek of Evansville.
The bride was given in marriage by her grandchildren, Reminington and Tristian Day of Fort Pierce in the double-ring ceremony officiated by Bishop Stafford Fisher.
Amy Jolene Germany of Fort Pierce, daughter of the bride, was chosen as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Janice Giaccone of Port St. Lucie, Fla., daughter; Savannah Day of Fort Pierce, granddaughter, and Shelby Van Hoosier, granddaughter.
Flower girls were Alyssa and Ashley Giaccone, grandchildren, and grandson Shane Van Hoosier was the ring bearer.
Gary Van Hoosier of Bland, Va., son of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Ben Germany of Port St. Lucie, son; Austin Van Hoosier of Santa Claus, son, and Tyler Van Hoosier of Santa Claus, son.
Special music was provided by Ben Germany-Sam Saylor DJ and Co. Selections played included “Just a Kiss” by Lady Antebellum.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Spanish Lakes Country Club in Fort Pierce.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Donald Van Hoosier honeymooned at Tiara Towers on North Hutchinson Island and will reside in Santa Claus.
The bride is a graduate of Apollo College in Phoenix, Ariz., and works at Advanced Care Emergency Center in Fort Pierce. Mr. Van Hoosier is a graduate of Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge, N.J., and is retired.
