The Inspirations
The Inspirations make up a four-part harmony quartet striking the medium of traditional Southern Gospel and country.
Having traveled more than 3 million miles spreading the gospel in song, the Inspirations have sung in almost every state in the Union, including Alaska and Hawaii, and have hosted tours to Europe, the Bahamas and the Holy Land.

The Inspirations have also sung to the Florida State Legislature, at the North Carolina State Fair and are regulars at the National Quartet Convention, the premier Southern Gospel Music event, held annually in Louisville, Ky. They have had seven number one and seven Songs of The Year or Favorite Gospel Songs, listed on the radio airplay charts compiled by Singing News, the printed voice of Southern Gospel Music.

The Inspirations have received more than two dozen Singing News Fan Awards, including Favorite Gospel Group or Favorite Male Quartet eight times.

Additionally, they have been the feature of two books, “What A Wonderful Time,” published in 1999 and named after one of the group’s songs, and “The Inspirations,” published in 1971.
