Freeman returns home from Iraq

TELL CITY – First Lt. Wendy Freeman returned to Tell City following a 10-month deployment to Iraq with the U.S. Army Re-serves.
She was a member of the 367th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment stationed at Contingency Operating Base Basra, located in southern Iraq. She worked in the public-affairs office for the 34th Infantry Division of the Minnesota National Guard and later for the U.S. Army 1st Infantry Division. Freeman would escort various news media throughout southern Iraq.
