HAWESVILLE, Ky.—Cannelton couldn’t get its bump, set, spike attack going consistently and lost to Hancock County 25-10, 17-25, 25-13, 25-16 in volleyball Thursday.
“We had 40 free balls,” said Cannelton Coach Felicia Myers. “There were a lot of volleys but we sent the ball over the net most of the time without setting it up.”
The Bulldogs still got a season-high 11 kills from Allicyn Garrett. Taylor Lawalin added five and Brook Blankenship three.
Jackie Malone made 14 sets.
