Forest Service not recycling old Christmas trees this year

TELL CITY – The Hoosier National Forest will not accept live Christmas trees for recycling this year.

“We appreciate the public’s assistance for the fish habitat restoration project in past years. We will be doing other projects in the coming year,” said District Ranger Chris Zimmer.
