Save for the future, budget your money carefully and avoid the snares of credit-card debt. Those were among the messages Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson took to Perry Central High School students last month.
Lawson regularly travels around the state teaching high-school students how to stay financially fit. “If more Hoosiers like you know how good credit works for you and bad credit works against you then you'll have more money for your futures and your retirement,” she said. Lawson also spoke about the work her office does to protect consumers from fraud.
