Financial Peace University coming in September at Troy UMC

TROY – Area residents are invited to participate in the Financial Peace University to learn how to plan and budget their finances.
Through video teaching by Dave Ramsey and class discussions, FPU presents practical steps to get participants from where they are to where they want to be with their money.
According to organizers, this plan will show how to get rid of debt, manage money, spend and save wisely and much more.
The average family who goes through the program pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,7000 in the first 90 days, organizers said.
