TELL CITY - This Sunday marks the season finale of the Tell City Regional Arts Assocation Music in the Park series with performances by Boom Squad Inc., CJ and the Grey Cats and Elliot Sublett.

Boom Squad Inc. is a performing drum line consisting of students from Evansville Metropolitan Area schools. Studnets are between the ages of 4 and 17 years old.

BSI focuses on delinquency prevention, academic achievement, and family development by providing an arts-based percussion program. The program provides percussion training, early intervention, community involvement, role modeling, social support, and educational experiences to combat juvenile delinquency and negative attention in the school system.

The group has five instructors who write, arrange and teach percussion technique, music and parade cadence, drills, routines and dance.

CJ and the Grey Cats will perform new rock with a touch of country, according to the press release. Elliot Sublett will close the evening as he performs old and new country as well as rock favorites.

The event runs from 3 to 6 p.m. Concessions will be available and the public is asked to bring lawn chairs.
