Ferdinand Folk Festival lineup announcement and concert Saturday

FERDINAND – The lineup of musicians set to hit the main stage at the fourth annual Ferdinand Folk Festival will be announced Saturday at a performance by the Boscoe France Band at Ferdinand’s American Legion. Show time will be at 8 p.m. EDT with tickets for the event, also a fundraiser for the fest, available for $10. “We are incredibly fortunate to have a musician of Boscoe’s caliber to help us kick off our 2013 Folk Fest activities,” said Marc Steczyk, Ferdinand’s Town Manager. “2013 looks to be a great year for the Ferdinand Folk Festival and I can’t think of a better way to start it than with the incomparable Boscoe France Band. This will truly be a night to remember.”

The fourth annual Ferdinand Folk Festival will be held Sept. 21 in Ferdinand’s 18th Street Park. As has been the case with the first three fests, this event is family-friendly, will feature activities for all ages, and is free to attend.
