FERDINAND – The Ferdinand Folk Festival planning committee is making its final push for vendors for the Sept. 15 festival.  The third annual Folk Festival will be free and held at Ferdinand’s 18th Street Park.
Vendor applications are still being accepted for art, environmental-education and food. More vendor information, including a downloadable PDF application, can be found at www.ferdinandfolkfestival.com/ vendors/vendor-application.
“Our vendors are a key part of the overall success of our event,” said Ferdinand Town Manager Marc Steczyk. “Last year’s event drew double what the first Folk Festival did in 2010.  We anticipate that growth to continue with this year’s festival, particularly with the draw that former Men at Work lead singer Colin Hay will have.  I look for our vendors to, again, have a great experience.”
