Ferdinand Benedictine sisters celebrate 60th, 70th jubilees

FERDINAND – Nine Benedictine sisters celebrated special anniversaries of their religious profession Oct. 28, at Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand. Sisters Mary Alice Schnur, Mary Kenneth Scheessele, Johnette Finis and Sylvia Gehlhausen observed the 70th anniversary of their monastic profession. Sisters Maura Beckman, Vera Kloeck, Mary Benet Goodrum, Mary Roman Dall and Mary Claude Croteau marked their 60th anniversary. These sisters have given a total of 580 years of consecrated life and service to the Church.
