TERRE HAUTE - Tell City's Alex Fenn finished 53rd and Perry Central was 24th in team standings in the 24-team field at the IHSAA boys cross country state meet Saturday.
Fenn ran the rolling 3.1-mile course in 16:48.0.
"I thought his performance was good but not great," said Tell City Coach Chris Hollinden. "And when you run at the state meet, with the best of the best, you have to run great to achieve your goal."
No Perry Central runner finished in the top half of the 198-runner field.
