LEOPOLD - Voters seemed to like all three candidates for Perry Central School Board, dividing votes evenly among Kevin Etienne, Tim Edwards and Carl "Joe" Flamion. However, only two seats on the five-person board were up for grabs.
Edwards received the most votes in Tuesday's election, winning a four-year term. He garnered 1,284 votes among the eight voting precincts within the school district. Incumbent board member Kevin Etienne received 1,111 votes to win a second term. Voters gave Flamion 1,095 votes, just 16 fewer than Etienne.
