Senior awards program at TC
TELL CITY – Tell City Junior-Senior High School will host its senior awards program at 1 p.m. May 20 in the school auditorium.
In addition to awarding all scholarships, other honors will be presented.
All graduates and their families, along with community members, students and staff, are invited and encouraged to attend this event.
All organizations in the area awarding local scholarships that wish to participate in the program are asked to notify Lisa Noble in the guidance department at high school at 547-9715 ext. 223 by May 16.  

Cannelton schools free summer food program June 4 - July 27
CANNELTON – Cannelton City Schools plans to sponsor a free summer food service program for individuals younger than 18 years of age. It will be held in the Cannelton High School cafeteria. The program will start June 4 and end July 27, with the school being closed July 4.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be from 11 a.m. to noon.

Glory Bees enrollment open
TELL CITY – Glory Bees Preschool, a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Tell City since 1986, is accepting applications for the 2012-13 school year. 
The preschool provides a Christian educational experience through Bible stories, songs and Christian character building. The curriculum incorporates kindergarten readiness skills, social and communication skills, community field trips, guest readers, community guests and a reading-incentive book club.
The five-day class meets from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday and costs $65 per month. Children must be at least 4 years old by Aug. 1 to be eligible. The three-day class meets from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday through Wednesday and costs $50 per month. Children must be 3 years old by Aug. 1 for this class. All children must be potty-trained.
Glory Bees is located at First Baptist Church, 802 13th Street. Enrollment applications are available in the church office or by calling 547-2270 or 547-6340.  Office hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
