After-prom committee fundraiser under way
TELL CITY – The Tell City High School after-prom committee is selling Coca-Cola products to raise funds for this year’s after prom.
Coke products are available in 20 ounce bottles for $18 per case. Twenty-four bottles are in each case.
Anyone who is interested in placing an order is asked to call 547-8071, 547-6902 or 547-2650.

Student drug testing community meeting
TELL CITY – There will be a community meeting – open to students, staff members, parents and community members – from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be held to discuss the possibility of the Tell City-Troy Township School Corp. implementing a student drug-testing policy for the 2011-12 school year.
The meeting will be held at the Tell City Junior-Senior High School Red Apple Inn.

Ninth-grade orientation meeting set for Feb. 1
LEOPOLD – Perry Central will host a ninth-grade orientation for current eighth-grade students at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, in the elementary cafeteria.
Students and parents will learn about high-school graduation requirements and the job-market outlook and develop a flexible four-year course plan.
A light supper will be served at 6 p.m. with the program starting at 6:30. RSVPs are encouraged to help organizers prepare for the meal.

Perry Central hosting FAFSA workshop today; students, parents invited
LEOPOLD – Perry Central Junior-Senior High School will host a Free Application for Federal Student Aid workshop at 6:30 p.m. today in the high-school library.
Stan Werne, Vincennes University financial aid adviser, will be on hand to go through the FAFSA application process.
Seniors and their parents are strongly encouraged to attend.

The school will also open its computer lab to parents and students from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 to help seniors file their FAFSA online.
