GED testing at Perry Central
LEOPOLD – GED testing at Perry Central Community School Corp. is open to all Hoosier residents. Registration is required before testing and information is available on the school’s Web site, www.pccs.k12.in.us.

Hahus awarded Hafele-Stinson scholarship
WEST LAFAYETTE – Hilarie Hahus of Branchville recently earned the Hafele-Stinson Scholarship from Purdue University. The scholarship is for $1,900 and is for the 2010-11 academic year.
Hahus is an earth and atmospheric science major and a graduate of Perry Central High School.
Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ha-fele of Kingsport, Tenn., formerly of Cannelton and Tell City, planned the establishment of six endowments at Purdue, including four annual scholarships for the sole benefit of graduating seniors from three Perry County high schools.
Mr. Hafele is a 1941 graduate of Cannelton High School and 1948 graduate of Purdue University, where he studied agriculture and for-estry. He is the son of the late Norman and Edna Haf-ele. Mrs. Hafele is the former Annie Ruth Stinson, a graduate of Tell City High School and a 1944 graduate of Purdue University School of Consumer and Family Sciences.
Ragan makes OCU dean’s list
OAKLAND CITY – Saffron Ragan of Troy was named to Oakland City University dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester.
This is her first time on the dean’s list.
She is a freshman studying business administration. She is expected to graduate in May 2012.
