Eddyth Terry, 85

TELL CITY – Eddyth Terry, 85, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City.

She was born in Gatchel Dec. 13, 1926, daughter of the late Richard and Elsie (Hendershot) Howell. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Ira Terry in 1992 and two brothers, Evan and Linus Howell.
A graduate of Tell City High School, Eddyth retired in 1986 from General Electric after 43 years. She was a member of Lilly Dale Church of Christ. Eddyth enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, canning, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Jane Ann Brumfield of Tell City and Debbie Kuntz of Evanston; two sons, Houston Smith of Leopold and Allen Smith of Orlando, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Le-Ann Jackson, Randi Hagedorn, Ammar Smith, Museafa Smith, Travis Wheatley, Stevi Evrard, Ryan Wheatley, Courtney Kuntz and Cody Kuntz and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Lilly Dale Church of Christ with burial in the church cemetery. Brother Eddie Olberding will officiate.
Visitation will be from 2 until 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 and from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Huber Funeral Home in Tell City Chapel.
