Depth, quickness are Perry Central's assets

LEOPOLD - New Perry Central boys basketball coach Matt Carter hopes his team's quickness and depth will overcome its lack of height.

Though the Commodores graduated their all-time leading scorer, Aaron Carter (Matt's brother) from last year's 13-9 team, they return seven lettermen, including three starters.

Matt Carter said the Commodores have better "overall quickness at each position, top to bottom, than last year."

They should be able to go all out using that quickness, as Carter can rest them when they get tired.
