Partnership seeks to improve tri-state health-care services

EVANSVILLE – Deaconess and VNA Plus have created a joint venture organization to provide home care and hospice services in the tri-state.

The partnership between Deaconess and VNA Plus represents a business model that seeks to sustain vital home and hospice services.

Services will include private duty, skilled home-care services, therapy services, at-home hospice care and inpatient hospice care at Deaconess Hospital Main Campus and the Charlier Hospice Center on the VNA Plus Campus.

The agreement also extends to offices in Princeton and Tell City; Eldorado, Ill. and Henderson, Ky.

Operation of the new joint venture will begin May 1 with their offices residing in the current VNA Plus location on Walnut Street in downtown Evansville.
