LEOPOLD—Reece Davis pitched a no-hitter and hit a home run as Millstone Woodworks beat Ohio Valley Gas 10-0 to win Perry Central’s age-11-12 baseball playoff tourney Saturday.
Davis struck out 13, walked none, and hit one batter in the five-inning game.
Evan Underhill reached base on an error by the second baseman and Travis Throgmorton was hit by a pitch in the second inning. But Davis struck out the next three batters to end that threat.
Cameron Bland led Millstone Woodworks’ offense, going 4 for 4 with three doubles.
Davis added a homer and two singles and Tate Miller had a single and a double.
Bland hit an RBI double after a single by Bryce Stephens in a two-run second inning and also had an RBI double in the fifth.
Davis lined his homer over the center-field fence in the fourth inning.
Millstone also won the league’s regular-season title.
