CORYDON – The Jonathan Jennings Chapter, United States Daughters of 1812 June meeting was held in Corydon. President Carol Scales opened the meeting in ritualistic form. Edith Key led the pledge to the Flag of the United States of America and Lynn Keasling led the group in the American’s Creed and acted as chaplain pro tern. Priscilla Fikes served as secretary pro tern.
After officers and committee chairs reported, Marilyn Rhodes led a national flag discussion. She quoted George Washington’s explanation of how the flag was to be constructed.
