TELL CITY — Crisis Connection recently provided packets of informational materials to medical providers in the area and includes items from The Family Violence Prevention Fund.

Joan Knies, community education specialist, encourages any medical providers who inadvertently did not receive a packet, or who would like to receive Crisis Connection's free monthly newsletter, "The Connected," to contact her at Crisis Connection at cci@psci.net or (812) 482-1555.

Crisis Connection has the March of Dimes Nursing Module, "Abuse During Pregnancy:  A Protocol for Intervention, Second Edition" available in the agency library. The newly revised danger assessment instrument, developed by Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing Associate Dean Dr. Jacquelyn Campbell, is also available online to train health care professionals in measuring and warning danger levels at www.dangerassessment.org.
