TELL CITY – Perry County residents will soon be able to avoid long lines at tax-paying time and can quit worrying about trying to race to the courthouse before it closes to pay child support or other court obligations.
County commissioners gave their blessing Monday to a plan by the county’s clerk’s and treasurer’s offices to install a drop box at the courthouse. An exact site hasn’t been chosen but will be near the entrance and accessible by motorists without having to exit their vehicles.
