County's jobless rate rises slightly during November

TELL CITY - Perry County's unemployment rate climbed by four-tenths of a percent in November, with an estimated 4 percent of the county's work force unemployed, up from the previous month but below the statewide average of 4.4 percent.

October's jobless rate stood at 3.6 percent.

The county's jobless rate ranked it 67th among the state's 92 counties.

Spencer County also had a 4-percent unemployment rate during the month. Crawford County's jobless rate stood at 5.5 percent.
