Council discusses precincts, walkway, Old Gym bills

CANNELTON – She went through information with County Clerk Jean Schulthise, Cannelton Mayor Mary Snyder said at a regular meeting of the city’s common council Oct. 8, “and the wards are pretty much right on.”

She was referring to an examination required following the census count made every 10 years. 

All of the city northeast of Indiana 66, also the city’s Seventh Street, is the city’s First Precinct. Everything southwest of the highway is the Second Precinct.
