TELL CITY - Ron Etienne continues to work toward what he says will be a better learning climate at reduced costs, but may face an obstacle at the county level.
County-council members deferred action Dec. 17 on a request from the Tell City-Troy Township School superintendent to approve a plan to make up to $2 million worth of renovations to Tell City High School.
The council bumped the issue to their January meeting after Council President Pete Franzman asked Etienne how the project's tax impact will affect other tax units' ability to collect revenues.
