Council candidates look toward brighter city (published Oct. 25)

TELL CITY — Candidates seeking seats on the Tell City Common Council discussed reasons they want to serve and issues they feel are important in a forum Thursday in the city’s Schergens Center.

The event was the second of two conducted by The Perry County News and Perry County Chamber of Commerce, the first of which sent Cannelton candidates and voters to that city’s community center two evenings earlier.

Candidates also provided information to The News by responding to questionnaires asking for biographical and other information.
