CORYDON—Corydon scored four runs on just two hits in the fifth inning to beat Perry Central 6-4 in age-14 baseball Saturday.

Two walks and an error also helped fuel that rally.

“We had a couple of errors that let some guys score,” said Perry Central Coach Brian Cassidy.

Adam Kleaving hit a home run and a single and drove in two runs to lead Perry Central’s seven-hit attack in the seven-inning game.

His home run cleared the left-field fence near the 330-foot marking.

Colten Hedinger added one hit and drew two walks.

Derek Thomas pitched the fifth and sixth innings for Perry Central to take the loss. He gave up two hits and two walks and struck out none.

Tanner Cassidy pitched the first four innings for the Commodores. He gave up five hits and one walk and struck out two.

Perry Central’s game at Crawford County was rained out Tuesday.

The Commodores will visit North Harrison for a doubleheader today at 4:30 p.m.
