Cook on Hoosier Basketball’s top 60 list

INDIANAPOLIS—Can-nelton guard Brandon Cook has been invited to participate in the 26th annual Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 senior boys’ workout Sunday, April 7.
 Nine players who participated in the recent IHSAA state finals highlight the list of invitees, including Linton-Stockton’s Austin Karazsia and Dess Fougerousse.
Statistical evaluation, game observation and statewide research were conducted throughout the season and the tourney to determine Hoosier Basketball ’s Top 60, according to the magazine’s press release.
Cook averaged 25.2 points, 4.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 steals for the Bulldogs this season.
He hit 38.4 percent from the field, including 30.2 percent from three-point range, and 63.0 percent of his free throws, getting to the line 219 times.
Two sessions of the Top 60 workout will be held Sunday at Marian University in Indianapolis.
Boys, primarily from northern and southern Indiana, will participate in the first session noon to 2 p.m. Perry County time. Players from central Indiana, will compete at 2:30 p.m.
Both sessions are open to the public for an admission charge of $7.
