TELL CITY – A partner in a local excavating firm voiced disappointment last week that his firm and its low bid on a sewage lift station was passed over for one tens of thousands of dollars more expensive.
C.J. Ransom, a partner in Ransom Excavating and Paving disagreed with assertions made last Monday by a project engineer that his company did not have experience constructing sewage lift stations. He also took issue with a statement that he not submitted needed information with its bid.
