TELL CITY - Perry County's commissioners approved at a regular meeting Wednesday the employment of a company to help manage child-support enforcement, insurance rates for county employees that remained the same or declined slightly and the use of a law-enforcement fund to purchase a used police car.
County Clerk Jean Schulthise told the commissioners she'd learned at a meeting of the Association of Indiana Counties that state officials are looking at ending federal incentive payments paid to counties based on their enforcement of child-support rulings.
