Bulldog Booster Club to meet today in Cannelton
CANNELTON – There will be a Bulldog Booster Club meeting at 5:15 p.m. today at the Education Center in the lower level of the old gym in Cannelton.

Twilight Towers dance Friday
TELL CITY – Twilight Towers, 1648 Tenth Street in Tell City, will hold an outdoor dance at 6 p.m. Friday with George and the Country Boys performing.
This event will be held on the patio on the south side of the building and is free to the public. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Those attending are asked to take lawn chairs. In case of rain, the event will be held inside in the dining room. Everyone is welcome.

TC Moose to sell chicken, pork-chop dinners
TELL CITY – The Tell City Moose Lodge 1424 will sell barbecued-chicken and pork-chop dinners Friday at the corner of 12th and Tell streets in Tell City.
Advance tickets may be purchased at the Moose lodge or from members. Dinners will also be sold to those without tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
Serving begins at 3:30 p.m. Dinners cost $7 and include creek-fried potatoes, green beans and one-half chicken or 11⁄4-inch pork chop.

K of C offers dinner service to public
TELL CITY – The Knights of Columbus, 947 11th St., opens its dining room to the public and serves dinners from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday nights.
Fiddlers, catfish filets and tilapia are offered each week along with fried chicken and ribeye steaks on special. Dine in or carryout is available.

VFW cornhole tourneys Fridays
TELL CITY – Tell City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2939 will once again host a cornhole tourney every Friday at the post home. Last season’s and new players are invited to attend. The new season will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW. Pizza will be provided. For more information, call the VFW at 547-4756 or Kerry James at 608-0217.

Dinners to be sold for March of Dimes
TELL CITY – Mitchell’s Mighty Marchers will sell pork-chop dinners at 10 a.m. Saturday. They will be located at the corner of Indiana 37 and 12th street in Tell City. The meals are $7 and will include pork chop, creek fries, green beans and slaw.
All proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes. For more information, contact Amber Mitchell at 843-3269.

Euchre tourney at Sportsman Club Saturday
FULDA – Fulda Sportsman Club will host a big euchre tourney at 7 p.m. Saturday at the club. Doors open at 6 p.m.
There will be six 20-minute games with cash prizes awarded at the end of play. Refreshments will be furnished.

Barbecue cook-off scheduled for Saturday
LEOPOLD – The Leopold Memorial Park Association will host a barbecue cook-off Saturday at Memorial Park. Entry fee for the pulled-pork competition will be $25. Meat will be provided to grillers and all entry fees will be returned in prize money. Blind judging will begin at 5 p.m.
Food available for purchase will include barbecue dinners, hamburgers, hot dogs, desserts and drinks. Music will be provided by Damaged Goods starting at 4 p.m. For rules, regulations or more information, contact Debbie Kelly at 719-8950.

Tractor parade Saturday
BRANCHVILLE – The Ohio Valley Tractor Association will host its first tractor parade Saturday. The parade will start from the Branchville Club House and end at Leopold Park. The parade will leave Branchville at 1 p.m. and will travel to Leopold, arriving approximately at 3 p.m.
New members are welcome to join the event.

Perry County Youth Soccer Day at the University of Evansville
EVANSVILLE – The University of Evansville Soccer Aces will play the University of Kentucky at the Aces soccer field, Arad McCutchan Stadium, Sunday.
All Perry County Youth soccer players, preschool through eighth grade, will be admitted free to a practice session and to the game. The charge for high-school players and adults is $5.
The youth players will be allowed to practice on the Aces North Practice Field from 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m. Game time is 2. Players are asked to wear their Tell City youth soccer shirts, shinguards and cleats and to take a soccer ball.
The practice field is located at the north end of the U of E campus, near the northwest corner of S. Weinbach Ave. and E. Walnut St. Park in the parking lot to the east of the field. Enter through the northeast gate and tell ticket takers you are from Perry County.
