Legion to sell pork-chop dinners Saturday
TELL CITY – Tell City American Legion will sell pork-chop dinners Saturday at the post home.
Serving will begin at 11:30 a.m. Dinners will include a pork chop, creek fries, baked beans and cole slaw.
Cost will be $8 per plate, with dine in or carry out available.

Christmas bazaar at Old National
TELL CITY – Old National’s Main Street location in Tell City will host a Christmas bazaar Friday.
The event will include many miscellaneous Christmas items.
All proceeds will benefit the Old National March of Dimes and Relay for Life teams.

K of C set memorial mass

TELL CITY – Knights of Columbus Council 1172 will hold a memorial mass at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at St. Pius Catholic Church in Troy.
The mass will honor deceased members, especially those who passed this year.

Ohio Tractor Association to meet Thursday
BRANCHVILLE – The Ohio Valley Tractor Association will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Branchville Conservation Club.

Horseman Club sponsoring euchre games
TELL CITY – The Southern Indiana Horseman Club is hosting euchre games now through early December. Events are planned for Saturday, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3.
Chili, hot dogs, desserts, soft drinks and coffee will be available at 6 p.m. with games at 7. Rules will be announced before games. For more information, call 836-2127 or 836-2052.

Troy FD soup sale Sunday
TROY – The Troy Fire Department’s annual fall soup sale will be Sunday at the Troy Firehouse.
Serving will begin at 11 a.m. Those purchasing soup are asked to take gallon containers.

Local business to host winter coat drive
TELL CITY – Glenn’s Cleaning Service in Tell City will hold a winter coat drive from Tuesday to Nov. 15.
The business will accept donations of gently used coats, winter hats, gloves and scarves of all sizes.
Glenn’s Cleaning Service will clean and distribute the items to those in need.
Drop off bins will be located at 907 Jefferson St., in Tell City.

Relay for Life soup supper Saturday
ST. MEINRAD – Relay for Life Team Happy from St. Meinrad and St. Boniface Catholic churches will be having a soup supper fundraiser Saturday at St. Boniface Parish Hall.
Serving will start at 6 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Relay for Life of Spencer County.

Sportsman Club to host annual Thanksgiving dance
FULDA – The Fulda Sportsman Club will host its third annual Pre-Thanksgiving Dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Nov. 19 at the club.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. and cost is $10 per person, with setups included.
Music will be provided by Final Tour and two fro-zen tom turkeys will be given away. For more information, call 357-5202.

German American selling mums for Relay
TELL CITY – The three locations of German American in Tell City are selling a selection of mums for Relay for Life. The plants cost $5.50 each or three plants for $15.
Proceeds will benefit the 2012 German American Relay for Life team.

Hoosier Day in Sebring
SEBRING, Fla. – The annual Hoosier Day in Sebring has been scheduled for Feb. 4 at Homer’s Buffet at the corner of Highway 27 and Sebring Parkway across from Wal-Mart.
Sign in is at 11 a.m. and the meal will be at noon.
