Euchre games Saturday in Leopold
LEOPOLD – The Leopold Conservation Club will host euchre games Saturday at the clubhouse.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with games beginning at 7.
Refreshments will be served.

Mu Gamma to meet today
TELL CITY – Mu Gamma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will meet at 6 p.m. today at the Democratic Headquarters in Tell City.
The gathering will be a model meeting for new members. The membership committee will host the event.

Beauty for a Cure Saturday
TELL CITY – Three stylists at Cutting Edge Salon in Tell City will hold a Beauty for a Cure cut-athon from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
A portion of every haircut the stylists give will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation. For more information, call 547-8995.

Space available for Highway 66 yard sales
ROME – The Rome Community Center in Rome has space available for anyone who wants to set up during the Highway 66 yard sales Saturday. Space is free.
The community center will offer sandwiches, drinks and desserts for sale during the day.

Haunted trail coming
CANNELTON – The Bloody Ridge Haunted Trail will begin Friday and run every Friday and Saturday until the end of October. The trail will also be open Oct. 30.
Gates will open at 6 p.m. each night and admission is $5. Costumes will be optional.
The trail is sponsored by Rolling Thunder Indiana Chapter 7 and Buddy’s Tire Shop.
The trail will be held near Buddy’s Tire Shop, 6032 Scotch Pine Road outside of Cannelton. Look for signs.

TC wrestling club to sell dinners
TELL CITY – The Tell City Junior-Senior High School Wrestling Club will sell chicken and pork-chop dinners from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday at the Zoercher-Bettinger Park on Watt Street in Tell City.
Meals will include chicken or pork chops, creek fries and slaw. Cost is $7 per meal.

Haunted Cave in Fulda
FULDA – A Haunted Cave will be held at St. Boniface Parish Center in Fulda from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and Oct. 22 and from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 23.
Pre-sale tickets are $4 each or six tickets for $20. Day-of-haunting tickets will be $5 or six tickets for $25. Prices for Oct. 23 are $4.
The cave is sponsored by the youth and young adults of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda and St. Meinrad Catholic Church in St. Meinrad. For more information, call (812) 431-7038.

German American selling mums for Relay
TELL CITY – The three locations of German American in Tell City are selling a selection of mums for Relay for Life. The plants cost $5.50 each or three plants for $15.
Proceeds will benefit the 2012 German American Relay for Life team.

Cub Scouts seek new members
TELL CITY – Cub Scout Pack 192 in Tell City is accepting new members. Boys in the first through fifth grades are eligible to sign up.

VNA Plus blood-pressure, blood-sugar screenings
TELL CITY – Visiting Nurse Association Plus will offer free blood-pressure and blood-sugar screenings in Tell City.
Screenings are scheduled from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Oct. 27 at Twilight Towers.

Craft event in Jasper
JASPER – The 4 Rivers Arts and Crafts Association will host a craft event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Dubois County Fairgrounds.

Military support group to meet
FERDINAND – The Blue Star Military Support Group, started by the Blue Star Mothers, will meet the third Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at American Legion Post 124 in Ferdinand.
The next meeting will be held Tuesday. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.

Horseman club sponsoring euchre games
TELL CITY – The Southern Indiana Horseman Club will host euchre games October through early December. Events are planned for Oct. 22, Nov. 5 and 19 and Dec. 3.
Chili, hot dogs, desserts, soft drinks and coffee will be available at 6 p.m. with games at 7. Rules will be announced before games. For more information, call 836-2127 or 836-2052.

All-you-can-eat breakfast in Leopold
LEOPOLD – The Leopold Memorial Park Association will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Oct. 23 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church hall.
All are welcome to attend.

Euchre games in Fulda Oct. 29
FULDA – The Fulda Sportsman Club will host a euchre tourney Oct. 29 at the club in Fulda. 
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with play beginning at 7 p.m. The tourney will consist of six 20-minute games with prizes to be awarded at the end of play. 
Refreshments will be provided. The public is welcome to attend.
