Sportsman to hold craft show Saturday
FULDA – The Fulda Sportsman Club will host its second annual craft show at the club from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday.
New events this year will be a car show and cornhole tournament.
Registration for the car show will be from 7 a.m. until noon with prizes to be awarded in various classes.
Other entertainment will be a Kiddie Tractor Pull beginning at 11 a.m.
Breakfast, barbecued chicken and pork-chop dinners, burgers and drinks will be available throughout the day.

All events are being held in conjunction with the town-wide yard sale the same day.

Ohio Valley tractor club to meet May 26
BRANCHVILLE – The Ohio Valley Tractor Association will meet at 7 p.m. May 26 at the Branchville Conservation Club.

No planning commission meeting this month
FERDINAND – With no pressing business to conduct, there will be no May meeting of the executive board of the Indiana 15 Regional Planning Commission.
Advance notice will be sent for the next scheduled meeting.

Orscheln obedience event Sunday at store
TELL CITY – Orscheln Farm and Home Store and the Evansville Obedience Club will host a dog obedience demonstration at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Orscheln Farm and Home Store parking lot.
The event was rescheduled due to rain. The public is welcome to attend, especially those interested in therapy dog training or those with questions or problems.
Those taking pets are asked to have them on leashes and have updated shots.

Hillbilly golf scramble July 9 in Branchville
BRANCHVILLE – Branchville’s first Hillbilly Golf Scramble is scheduled for Saturday, July 9 at the Old English Golf Course.
Cost is $45 per person with four people minimum per team. All-you-can-eat burgers and hot dogs will also be provided to teams. Festivities will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

Benefit golf scramble Saturday in Hancock Co.
HANCOCK COUNTY, Ky. – A fund-raiser golf scramble will be held for the South Hancock Family Resource Center at 8 a.m. Saturday.
The scramble will be held at Ben Hawes Golf Course at Ben Hawes State Park. Fee is $150 per team of four. The first 18 teams to register and pay will be eligible to play.

VNA Plus to offer blood- pressure, blood-sugar screenings
TELL CITY – Visiting Nurse Association Plus will offer free blood-pressure and blood-sugar screenings in Tell City.
Screenings are scheduled from 9 to 10 a.m. May 24 at Twilight Towers and from 8:30 to 10 a.m. June 7 and June 21 at Wal-Mart. For more information call VNA at 547-7967.

New support group to meet Thursdays
TELL CITY – New Way to Live, a new Narcotics Anonymous support group, has been meeting meeting Thursdays at 7 p.m. at 319 11th Street in Tell City.
The group has open discussion meetings and all are welcome.

Dale town yard sales June 10, 11
DALE – The eighth annual town-wide yard sale in Dale is scheduled for 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 10 and June 11.
Organizers urge the community to check out the bargains all over town. Deadline to register as a vendor is June 3.
Vendor registration fees will benefit the back-to-school-supply program and Toys for Kids program at Christmas.
All sale ads can be found in local newspapers June 9.

Perry County chess club to meet
TELL CITY – The Perry County Chess Club will meet for its monthly gathering from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. May 31 at the Tell City-Perry County Public Library.
Chess instruction will be given for 30 minutes before participants are allowed to play games for the remaining time.
All participants, including beginners, are welcome to attend.

Wolf Pack event in Derby
DERBY – The Wolf Pack Relay for Life team will host a Relay for Life event at Derby Tavern Saturday.
The Carter Valley Boys and Blind Syde will play starting at 8 p.m. Admission is a $5 donation at the door.
The public is invited to attend.

German American team to host yard sale
TELL CITY – The German American Relay for Life team will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 21.
The sale will be in the parking lot corner behind the Rivergate branch across from McDonald’s in Tell City.

Parrot Head team yard sale
TELL CITY – The Parrot Head Relay for Life team will host a yard sale at 7 a.m. Saturday at Midway Storage.
A bake sale will also take place during the event. The yard sale will be multi-family and include household items, clothing and toys.
If rain, the event will be cancelled.

Angie’s Angels poker run
TELL CITY – Angie’s Angels Relay for Life will host a poker run Saturday starting at Braunie’s. Registration is from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. with vehicles out at 11.
There is a $10 entry fee per hand, with dinner included afterward. All vehicles are welcome.
