St. Boniface to host fish fry Friday in Fulda
FULDA – St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda will host a fish fry from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the parish center, located on Indiana 545 south of the church.
The parish family of the church invites neighbors and friends to attend for an evening of dinner and fellowship. Cost of the dinners is $9 for adults and $5 for children.
The menu will include two boneless fish fillets, bread, dessert, drink and a choice of three sides; German fries, macaroni and cheese, baked beans or slaw. Takeout will be available.
Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the facilities of St. Boniface Parish Center.
Horseman club euchre games Saturday
TELL CITY – The Southern Indiana Horseman Club has been hosting euchre games through March and the final event will be held Saturday.
Chili, hot dogs, desserts, soft drinks and coffee will be available at 6 p.m. with games at 7. Cost at the door is $5 per person.

Greenwood cemetery spring clean under way
TELL CITY – Workers at Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City will begin the annual spring cleanup this week.
All articles must be picked up by then. Nothing is allowed on the ground during the spring. Cemetery Sexton Earl Parker appreciates all public cooperation.
K of C Lenten dinners
TELL CITY – Knights of Columbus will host their annual Lenten fish dinners every Friday through Lent. Serving will be from 5 to 8 p.m. at the K of C.
Easter-egg hunt at Orschlen April 7
TELL CITY – Orschlen’s Farm and Home Supply in Tell City will host an Easter-egg hunt at 1 p.m. April 7. A donation of $1 per child is requested, with all proceeds going to the Humane Society of Perry County.
Prizes will be awarded. All are welcome to attend.
Sonshine’s rummage sale in April
NEW BOSTON – Sonshine Early Learning Ministry will host a rummage sale from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 19, 20 and 21 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, one mile west of New Boston.
The sales will be held rain or shine. Items will include clothing for women, men and children of all ages, toys, furniture, purses, home decorations and bedding. A pair of used shoes will be given out with every purchase and all items will be half price April 21.
Soup, homemade pies, cookies, breads, rolls and kuchen will also be available for purchase.
Longrifles club to meet Sunday
TELL CITY – The Valley of the Eagles Longrifles Inc. will meet at 1 p.m. Sunday at a club member’s home.

Relay committee, team captains meeting
DALE – Relay for Life of Spencer County will have a monthly committee meeting and team captains’ meeting Monday at the Carter Fire Station in Dale.
The committee meeting will start at 6 p.m. and the team captains meeting will follow at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in Relay for Life is invited.
Perry Central football families to gather April 9
LEOPOLD – Perry Central football families will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. April 9 in the Perry Central High School study hall room. For more information, contact Donna Shaw at 836-2927.
Euchre at the Sportsman
FULDA – The Fulda Sportsman Club will host a euchre tourney April 14 at the club in Fulda. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with play beginning at 7 p.m.
All times are CST. Prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be provided. The public is invited to attend.
VNA Plus blood-pressure, blood-sugar screenings
TELL CITY – The Visiting Nurse Association Plus conducts blood-pressure and blood-sugar screenings each month at Twilight Towers. The next screening will be from 9 to 10 a.m. April 26.

PCMH to offer screenings Tuesdays
TELL CITY – Perry County Memorial Hospital will conduct blood-pressure and blood-sugar screenings every Tuesday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Wal-Mart in Tell City.

Local woman helping to raise money for St. Rita’s School
PERRY COUNTY – Joyce (Goffinet) Greenwood of Tell City is selling tickets to help raise money for the St. Rita School for the Deaf. Her husband, Larney Greenwood, is an alumni of the school.
She has tickets for the 1720 Club, a year-long raffle that draws cash prizes totaling $1,720 or more on the last business day of the month. St. Rita’s is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. For more information about the fundraisers, visit www.srsdeaf.org.
