ROSCOE

ROSCOE is a 2 or 3-year-old beagle brought to the shelter with his beagle brother, Jake, because his owner was unable to care for them. Roscoe and Jake would do well in a home together or separately and both are good with children and other animals. Shelter staff say both dogs are sweet, friendly and in need of a home where they will receive a lot of love and attention.

Roscoe’s adoption fee is $100 and includes neuter, all vaccines, heartworm test and flea, tick and heartworm preventatives.

SIMON

SIMON is a male brown tabby about 1-year-old who was surrendered to the shelter in January. He is fully declawed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and ready for his forever home.

Because the shelter is currently overflowing with cats, adoption fees for cats six months and older have been reduced to $25 for one cat or $35 for a pair. The shelter staff says many of the cats have been overlooked and have been waiting months to find a home.

MAMA is a 4 1/2-year-old DSH tabby girl who is very mellow and needs a quiet home where she can relax, enjoy watching birds and sunbathe without a lot of noise and activity. Mama is very good with other cats and dogs and calm adults. Small children make her nervous and she will hide, so a home with teenagers or adults is preferred.

OREO is a spayed female domestic short-haired tuxedo cat who is very sweet. Oreo is an approximately three years old, petite cat that would appear to most to be a half-grown kitten because of her small size.

Oreo and her housemate, Theodore, were surrendered to the shelter in January by their owner, who was no longer able to care for them.
Oreo has always been an indoor cat. She does well with other cats, dogs and with children.

Daphne is an unclaimed stray who has been overlooked and waiting patiently at the shelter since the fall of 2013.

Daphne’s adoption fee of $100 includes a spay, all vaccines, heartworm test and flea, tick and heartworm preventive.
