Beta Sigma Phi to meet today
TELL CITY – Mu Gamma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will meet at 6 p.m. today at Iron Gate. Hostesses will be Pam Krieg, Rita Lawalin and Mary Snyder.

Square dance lessons set for Saturday
TELL CITY – The William Tell Senior Citizens will host old-fashioned square-dance lessons starting at 6 p.m. Saturday at the center, 1307 11th Street, Tell City.
The lessons are free and everyone is invited to attend. Membership is not required. For more information, contact Ed Hoffman at 547-2714.

Twilight Towers tenants meet
TELL CITY – The monthly tenant meeting was held Jan. 18 with President Joyce Richardt leading the meeting.
The birthdays for January are Diana Brown, Glenda Snyder, Oma Sprinkle, Lee Snyder, Bobbi Polster and Ruth Kreisle.
There will be a carry-in dinner Feb. 17 for residents only. A Valentine’s dance will be held the same night starting from 7 until 10 p.m. The band Crosswinds will provide entertainment. The public is invited to attend the dance.

Leopold to host euchre tournament
LEOPOLD – A euchre tournament will be held Saturday at the Leopold Conservation Club.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with games beginning at 7.
The public is invited to attend.

Crisis Connection to sponsor Girl Talk
TELL CITY – Moms and daughters and their best girlfriends are invited to join Crisis Connection for an evening of girl talk. Girls in grades 7 through 12, along with their parents and guardians, are asked to join Crisis Connection staff to discuss the complicated relationships between girls.
The event will take place at 6 p.m. Monday at Tell City Junior-Senior High School. Free dinner and babysitting for children under 12 years old will be provided. Prizes will be awarded during the evening.

Horseman club will sponsor euchre games
TELL CITY – The Southern Indiana Horseman Club will host euchre games now through March. Events are planned for Feb. 4, Feb. 18 and March 3, 17 and 31.
Chili, hot dogs, desserts, soft drinks and coffee will be available at 6 p.m. with games at 7. Cost at the door is $5 per person.

St. Meinrad Legion to host dance
ST. MEINRAD – St. Meinrad American Legion Post 366 will host a Valentine Dine and Dance Feb. 11 at the St. Meinrad American Legion Hall.
Tickets need to be purchased in advance at the Legion home or by calling (812) 357-5583. Admission price of $15 per person includes meal, drinks and dance. Music will be provided by The Good Times Country Band.  The meal will be served at 5:30 p.m.

VNA Plus blood-pressure, blood-sugar screenings
TELL CITY – The Visiting Nurse Association Plus conducts blood-pressure and blood-sugar screenings each month at Twilight Towers.
The next screening will be from 9 to 10 a.m. today.

PCMH to offer screenings Tuesdays
TELL CITY – Perry County Memorial Hospital will hold blood-pressure and blood-screenings every Tuesday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Wal-Mart in Tell City.
The screenings will be offered free of charge to the public.
