Beta Sigma Phi meeting today
TELL CITY – Mu Gamma Chapter of Beta will meet at 6 p.m. today at the Patio for its annual Valentine’s party.
Hostesses will be the special-events committee.

Valentine breakfast at St. Augustine
LEOPOLD – A Valentine breakfast will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the St. Augustine Parish Hall in Leopold. The event is sponsored by the Leopold Park Association and is open to the public.

Leopold to host euchre tourney
LEOPOLD – A euchre tourney will be held Saturday at the Leopold Conservation Club.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. with games beginning at 7. Food and refreshments will be available.
The public is invited to attend.

PEZ Day at Santa’s Candy Castle
SANTA CLAUS – Santa’s Candy Castle, 15499 N. State Road 245 in Santa Claus, will host a PEZ day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The event is for people of all ages and will feature PEZ-themed games and activities, including a gigantic PEZ display with hundreds of vintage PEZ products. The day will also include a PEZ coloring contest, a “guess how many PEZ” contest, multiple-choice PEZ trivia contests and more.
All contests are free to enter and offer PEZ prizes. The public is invited to attend. For more information about this event, call (812) 544-3900.

St. Meinrad Legion to host dance
ST. MEINRAD – St. Meinrad American Legion Post 366 will host a Valentine Dine and Dance Saturday at the St. Meinrad American Legion Hall.
Tickets need to be purchased in advance at the Legion home or by calling (812) 357-5583. Admission price of $15 per person includes meal, drinks and dance. Music will be provided by The Good Times Country Band.  The meal will be served at 5:30 p.m.

Spaghetti dinner at St. John’s Lutheran
EVANSTON – St. John’s Lutheran Church in Evanston will host a spaghetti dinner and family day after church service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Cost for the spaghetti dinner is a free-will offering. It will be sponsored by the Youth League. There will also be a euchre tourney, board games and other activities for everyone.
The public is invited to attend and enjoy the afternoon with family and friends. St John’s Lutheran Church is located at 12308 East County Road 1160 North, a half-mile west of New Boston.

Special-needs group to meet Monday
TELL CITY – The Tri County Special Needs Support Group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City.
The guest speaker will be House of Representatives candidates Mike Shrifer. Refreshments will be served.

Pizza fundraiser to help PC Animal Shelter
TELL CITY – The Perry County Animal Shelter will have a fundraiser with the support of Chicago’s Pizza.
With a coupon, anyone ordering large pizzas Feb. 27 through Feb. 28 at Chicago’s Pizza can help the shelter. Chicago’s Pizza will donate $3 of every large pizza purchased to the Perry County Animal Shelter in recognition of World Spay Day.
Coupons are available at the shelter in Cannelton during regular hours from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays or 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday or by e-mail request to Tiffany Reed at tiffanyreed13@gmail. com. Coupons will also be at Chicago’s during the event.

Euchre tourney for Relay for Life
FULDA – The third annual Relay for Life Team Happy galloping euchre tourney will be Feb. 18. It will start at 6:30 p.m. at St. Boniface Parish Center in Fulda.
