TCRAA monthly meeting Tuesday
TELL CITY – The Tell City Regional Arts Association will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall in Tell City.
All artists, writers, and entertainers are welcome to attend.

PCMH information desk volunteers meeting
TELL CITY – There will be a meeting for the Perry County Memorial Hospital information desk volunteers Monday, March 7.
It will be held in Conference Room C at 1 p.m. Randy Dennison, vice president of Support Services at PCMH, will be the speaker.
All are encouraged to attend and meet the other volunteers.

La Leche League meeting
IRELAND – La Leche League provides mother-to-mother support for breastfeeding, post-breastfeeding and pregnant women. Mothers who wish to breastfeed their babies or pump milk for them will find encouragement and information at the local La Leche League meetings.
La Leche League meets on the first Tuesday of every month with the next meeting scheduled for March 1 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Community Center Classroom 3 in Ireland next to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
All pregnant women, nursing mothers, and women interested in breastfeeding and their children are welcome.

Orscheln’s chick clinic Saturday
TELL CITY – Orscheln Farm and Home Supply Store will sponsor a free chick clinic at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5.
The public is invited to join staff and learn about the wide variety of breeds available and how to raise your own backyard flock.

New Boston Ladies Auxiliary soup sale
NEW BOSTON – New Boston Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will host its annual famous soup sale Sunday, March 6 at the New Boston Fire Station.
Soup will be ready for pick up at noon. Cost is $11 per gallon. Those purchasing are asking to take their own containers.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the New Boston Volunteer Fire Department.

Rome Fire Department chili supper
ROME – The Rome Volunteer Fire Department will hold a chili supper beginning at 5 p.m. March 12 at the Rome Community Center.
A country store will be set up and include pies, cakes, cookies, bread, candies, canned goods and more. The menu for the supper will be chili, sandwiches, chips, cookies and a drink.

Band to play at Legion
TELL CITY – Tell City American Legion will host a band at the post March 5. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call the legion at 547-8201.

Conservation Club euchre tourney March 12
LEOPOLD – The Leopold Conservation Club will host a euchre tourney March 12 at the clubhouse. Doors open at 6 p.m. and games will start at 7. Food and refreshments will be available. There will be no smoking during the tourneys. Cost is $5.

Horseman’s club euchre games
TELL CITY – The Southern Indiana Horseman’s Club will host euchre games March 5 at the clubhouse on Summer Road, just north of Tell City.
The event is open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m. with games starting at 7 p.m. Hot dogs, chili, desserts, soft drinks and coffee will be served.
The clubhouse is a nonsmoking facility.

Grief support group meeting
TELL CITY – A grief support group meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 at the First United Methodist Church in Tell City. The meeting is open to the public.

VNA Plus offers blood-pressure, blood-sugar screenings
TELL CITY – Visiting Nurse Association Plus will offer free blood-pressure and blood-sugar screenings at Twilight Towers in Tell City.
Screenings are scheduled from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Tuesday and March 15 at Wal-Mart in Tell City and from 9 to 10 a.m. March 22 at Twilight Towers.

PERRY COUNTY – Many Boys and Girls Clubs are currently running car campaigns. Donated cars are sold at auction and the funds generated help support the clubs’ many programs.
