St. Paul chicken dinners Sunday
TELL CITY – St. Paul Catholic Church in Tell City will host a chicken-dinner fundraiser from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the corner of 12th and Tell streets in Tell City.
Dinners will include chicken, creek fries and green beans. Cost is $7. All proceeds will help fund a youth mission trip.

Parks and rec board to meet
TELL CITY – The Perry County Parks and Recreation Board will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the courthouse annex in Cannelton.
The hiking club’s Oriole Trail West hike planned for May 26 has been moved to June 2.
Those wishing to participate are asked to meet at the trailhead at 9 a.m. the day of the hike.

MS Association to meet Tuesday
TELL CITY – The Tri-State Multiple Sclerosis Association will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Perry County Hospital in Conference Room C. This month’s meeting topic will be “Do This for Yourself,” with guest speaker Pam Epple, consultant.

Sonshine’s rummage sale in April
NEW BOSTON – Sonshine Early Learning Ministry will host a rummage sale from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 19, 20 and 21 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, one mile west of New Boston.
The sales will be held rain or shine. Items will include clothing for women, men and children of all ages, toys, furniture, purses, home decor and bedding.
A pair of used shoes will be given out with every purchase and all items will be half price April 21.
Soup, homemade pies, cookies, breads, rolls and kuchen will also be available for purchase.

Perry Central football families to gather today
LEOPOLD – Perry Central football families will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. today in the Perry Central High School study hall room.

Special Needs group to meet
TELL CITY – Tri County Special Needs Support Group will hold a meeting at 5:30 p.m. today at the Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City.

Tractor association to meet April 26
BRANCHVILLE – The Ohio Valley Tractor Association will meet at 7 p.m. April 26 at the Branchville Club House. All members are encouraged to attend as the group will vote on the Perry Central student to receive the association’s scholarship.

Euchre at the Sportsman
FULDA – The Fulda Sportsman Club will host a euchre tourney Saturday at the club in Fulda. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with play beginning at 7 p.m. All times are CDT.
Prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be provided. The public is invited to attend.

PC Republican Lincoln Day dinner April 30
TELL CITY – The Perry County Republicans will host a Lincoln Day Dinner April 30 at the Tell City American Legion Post.
Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. and dinner will start at 6 p.m. Greg Zoeller, state attorney general, will be the guest speaker.
Dinner will be catered by Bill and Dave’s Smokin’ Pit. Cost is $12 per person.

BRANCHVILLE – Go-cart races will be held at the Branchville Conservation Club April 28 starting at 5 p.m. Refreshments will be available.
