CCC rummage, bake sale
TELL CITY – Community Christian Church will host a rummage and bake sale from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Saturday sale will feature half-price items and a bag sale. The sales will occur both days rain or shine. Items will include children’s, men’s and women’s clothing and shoes, a large area rug, home decor, toys, furniture and all kind of miscellaneous items, as well as many baked items.
Spring social at St. Boniface Sunday
FULDA – The spring social at St. Boniface Catholic Church will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. The parish family of St. Boniface Catholic Church invites neighbors and friends to the event, which will include food and entertainment. Bingo will be from noon to 5 p.m. and a euchre tourney will start at 5:30 p.m.
Chili soup, barbecued pork sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, drinks and desserts will be served. Proceeds will benefit the St. Boniface Parish Center.
The parish center is located on Highway 545, south of the church. Take-out will be available.
PC chicken dinner sale Sunday
LEOPOLD – The Perry Central football team will sell chicken dinners at 10 a.m. Sunday in Leopold Park.
Dinners will include a half chicken, creek fries and green beans for $7. Music will also be provided by Nashville Revue starting at 11:30 a.m.
PC spring band bazaar Saturday
LEOPOLD – The Perry Central band will host its spring bazaar from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the commons area of the high school.
Events will include a silent auction that will end at 2:30 p.m. and a yard sale. Vendors will also be set up, featuring woodworking, Tupperware, handmade items and more.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
Old National silent auction
TELL CITY – Old National’s Relay For Life team is holding a silent auction to raise money for their team. The auction will end April 27 at the Main Street location in Tell City.
There are many items to bid on. The public is encouraged to stop by and check out the auction.
Sonshine’s rummage sale this week
NEW BOSTON – Sonshine Early Learning Ministry will host a rummage sale from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, one mile west of New Boston.
The sales will be held rain or shine. Items will include clothing for women, men and children of all ages, toys, furniture, purses, home decor and bedding. A pair of used shoes will be given out with every purchase and all items will be half price Saturday.
Soup, homemade pies, cookies, breads, rolls and kuchen will also be available for purchase.
Leopold yard sale Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Go-cart races in Branchville
BRANCHVILLE – Go-cart races will be held at the Branchville Conservation Club April 28 starting at 5 p.m. Refreshments will be available.

Ohio Valley Tractor Association to meet
BRANCHVILLE – The Ohio Valley Tractor Association will meet at 7 p.m. April 26 at the Branchville Club House. All members are encouraged to attend as the group will vote on the Perry Central student to receive the association’s scholarship. For more information, contact Ed Guillaume at 843-5746.
PC Republican Lincoln Day dinner April 30
TELL CITY – The Perry County Republicans will host a Lincoln Day Dinner April 30 at Tell City American Legion. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. and dinner will start at 6 p.m.
Greg Zoeller, state attorney general, will be the guest speaker.
Dinner will be catered by Bill and Dave’s Smokin’ Pit. Cost is $12 per person.

Evanston community sales Saturday
EVANSTON – The Evanston Civic Association will hold a community sale Saturday at the ballpark under the shelter house. Sales will start at 7 a.m.
Yard sale items, new items, crafts and wooden items, perennial plants and lots of miscellaneous will be sold. Breakfast and lunch concessions will be available also.
Planning commission to meet April 24
FERDINAND – The executive board of the Indiana 15 Regional Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 24 at the commission’s office, 221 E. First Street in Ferdinand.
The regular meeting of the board of directors will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the same location.
VNA Plus blood-pressure, blood-sugar screenings
TELL CITY – The Visiting Nurse Association Plus conducts blood-pressure and blood-sugar screenings each month at Twilight Towers.
The next screening will be from 9 to 10 a.m. April 26. For more information, call VNA at 547-7967.
PCMH to offer screenings Tuesdays
TELL CITY – Perry County Memorial Hospital conducts blood-pressure and blood-sugar screenings every Tuesday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Wal-Mart in Tell City.
