Kidney health class scheduled for Tuesday
TELL CITY – There will be a free Kidney Smart Education class from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Fifth Third Bank community room in Tell City.

The class is free and open to anyone who has been diagnosed with kidney disease.

Family members are also encouraged to attend. For more information or to enroll for the class, call Julie Denu RN, or Travis Scifres at 547-1140.

VFW’s next breakfast buffet Saturday
TELL CITY – Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2939 will host a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at the post home. Eggs will be made to order.

Cost is $5.50 plus tax and the public is invited.

Sons of Legion to sell pork chop dinners
TELL CITY – Tell City Sons of the American Legion Squadron 213 will sell pork-chop dinners beginning at 11 a.m. Superbowl Sunday, Feb. 1, at the post home.

Dinners will include a pork chop, creek fries and green beans. Cost will be $8 and dinners will be available for dine-in or carryout.

Euchre tourney Feb. 21 at Fulda Sportsman Club
FULDA – The Fulda Sportsman Club will host a euchre tourney Saturday, Feb. 21, at the club in Fulda. The doors will open at 6 p.m. CST and play will begin at 7 p.m. Prizes will be awarded at the end of play and refreshments will be available. The public is invited.
Horseman’s club schedules winter euchre games

TELL CITY – The Southern Indiana Horseman’s Club will host euchre games throughout winter.
The next games will be held Saturday, Feb. 7. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and games will begin at 7 p.m. Cost is $5 at the door and 25 cents per euchre game.

Chili, hot dogs, desserts, coffee, sodas and water will be available.
No smoking is permitted in the building. All games are open to the public ages 16 and older.

Additional games will be held Saturdays, Feb. 21, and March 7 and 21.

Legion plans Valentine dinner, dance for Feb. 14
ST. MEINRAD – St. Meinrad American Legion Post 366 will host a Valentine dine and dance Saturday, Feb. 14, at the legion hall.
Tickets need to be purchased in advance at the post home or by calling (812) 357-7834 or (812) 357-5121.

The admission price of $15 per person includes the meal, drinks and dance.

The meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. CST. Music will be provided by Sweetwater.

Marketplace health insurance help at library
TELL CITY – Southwest Indiana Regional Council on Aging has certified Indiana navigators available to answer questions and assist with health-care enrollment.

This service is provided at no cost and information provided is confidential.

The federal marketplace open-enrollment period will run through Feb. 15.

A certified Indiana navigator will be at the Tell City branch of the Perry County Public Library every Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Thursday, Feb. 12 to answer questions and help with health-care enrollment.

Candles for a Cause to benefit Relay For Life
HANCOCK COUNTY – On February 12, 13 and 14, The Vault in Hancock County will support Relay For Life by donating 10 percent of all sales to American Cancer Society-Hancock County.

Legion bunco tourney set for Feb. 22
CANNELTON – Cannelton American Legion Post Auxiliary 142 will host a bunco tournament from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at the post home. The doors will open at 1:30. There will be a $5 donation and prizes will be given for first, second and third place and for the lowest overall score. There will also be a door prize awarded. Refreshments will be available.

Legion euchre tourney March 14
CANNELTON – Cannelton American Legion Post Auxiliary 142 will host a euchre tournament Saturday, March 14. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and play will begin at 6. There will be a $5 donation and one quarter per euchre.

The top three winners will be paid out and refreshments will be available for purchase.
