Yoga in the Park Saturday
TELL CITY – EverBody’s Fun and Fitness Center will hold Yoga in the Park at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10 at Sunset Park. Instructor Jennifer Land will lead the class.
Mats will be provided to those who need them. The class is free but donations will be accepted.
A car wash will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 10, in the parking lot of Fifth Third Bank. Donations will be accepted.
Twilight Towers annual yard sale Saturday
TELL CITY – Twilight Towers will hold its annual yard sale from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 10, in the dining room at 1648 10th St. in Tell City.
A biscuits-and-gravy breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. A full order will be $2 and a half order will be $1.
Drinks will be 50 cents each. A bake sale and a raffle for a country-motif quilt will also be held.
Raffle tickets will be $1 apiece or six for $5. Everyone is welcome.
Texas hold’em at Legion Saturday
TELL CITY – American Legion Post 213 will have a no-limit Texas hold’em tournament Saturday, May 10 with a $100 buy-in and 80 percent payout.
No re-buys or add-ons will be allowed.

Riverfest planning meeting Wednesday
DERBY – The Derby Community Association will hold a planning meeting for the 2014 Riverfest at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at the Derby Firehouse.

TELL CITY – The Humane Society of Perry County will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 13 at Fifth Third Bank in Tell City. Everyone is welcome.

Trinity United to hold yard sale May 16
FULDA – Trinity United Church of Christ in Fulda will have a yard sale from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 16 and from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 17 at the church.
Fulda craft and car show May 17
FULDA – The Fulda Sportsman Club will host a craft, car and tractor show Saturday, May 17, at the club. This event will be held in conjunction with the town-wide yard sale.
The craft show will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration for the car show will be from 7 a.m. to noon. Prizes will be awarded at 2 p.m.
No registration is required for the tractor show. A kiddie tractor pull will begin at 10 a.m. Food will be available throughout the day, including breakfast items and barbecued-chicken and pork-chop dinners.

Survivors of Suicide to meet May 19
TELL CITY – Survivors of Suicide will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Liberty Labs in Tell City.
Anyone in the community who has been affected by suicide and depression or has a loved one who has attempted or committed suicide is encouraged to attend. The group offers a safe, caring circle of support.

William Tell Center karaoke night May 23
TELL CITY – The William Tell Center will host a karaoke night from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, May 23 at the center.
Donnie Tindle of Crosswinds will provide the karaoke. Admission will be $5. Refreshments will be offered and all are welcome.
Free parenting workshop May 20
TELL CITY – The Perry County Public Library-Tell City will offer a free parenting workshop called “Positive Discipline at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 20.
Stephanie Savage, licensed certified social worker and counselor for 26 years, will offer parents advice on tantrums, setting appropriate limits and behavior issues.
Space is limited. To register, call the library at 547-2661.
Refreshments will be served but childcare will not be provided.
Due to space and program content, the staff asks that children not attend with their parents.
Bingo at Legion Mondays in May
CANNELTON – In addition to its regular Friday-night bingo, the Legion will host an additional Monday-night bingo May 12 and 19, starting at 6 p.m.
Line dancing Thursdays at senior center
TELL CITY – The William Tell Center hosts line dancing Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $5 and all are welcome.
